To help children become familiar with sewing in a safe, fun, and creative way, promoting learning through hands-on experience, the development of fine motor skills, focus, and a love handmade creations.
DURATION & FORMAT
• Full course: 8 consecutive weeks
• Frequency: 1 class per week
• Class length: 60 minutes
• Same day and time each week

Creative Sewing & Textile Course for Kids
Welcome to Little Town Dreamers, a creative and hands-on sewing experience designed to introduce children to the wonderful world of textiles, sewing, design, and creativity.
Through 8 fun and engaging classes, children will learn sewing fundamentals, explore fabrics and colors, create their own projects, and experience the joy of making something with their own hands.
The course encourages creativity, self-confidence, independence, and appreciation for the creative process in a caring, safe, and stimulating atelier environment.

MODULE 1 – DISCOVER
Classes 1 & 2
Class 1 – Getting to Know the Atelier
● Introduction to the atelier, sewing space, and materials
● Basic sewing safety rules
● Introduction to the stages of the creative sewing process
● Guided needle threading
● Introduction to basic stitches
● First sewing practice
● Project: Stuffed figure, such as a heart or small pillow
Class 2 – Learning to Join
● Stitch review
● Introduction to the running stitch
● Learning how to join two pieces of fabric
● Introduction to stuffing techniques
● Project: Soft doll or animal
MODULE 2 – CREATE
Classes 3 & 4
Class 3 – Design & Color
● Introduction to pre-cut patterns
● Exploring fabrics and color selection
● Guided sewing
● Developing personal design choices
● Project: Personal fabric bag
Class 4 – Decorate & Finish
● Textile decoration techniques
● Working with large buttons, ribbons, bows, and other decorative elements
● Introduction to finishing techniques
● Project: Skirt or cape
MODULE 3 – DESIGN
Classes 5 & 6
Class 5 – My First Garment
● Taking basic measurements
● Introduction to measuring tools
● Learning the parts of a simple garment
● Fabric selection
● Basic waist measurement
● Beginning garment construction
● Project: Simple elastic-waist skirt
The garment project may be adapted depending on the group and/or season.
Class 6 – Finish & Try On My Garment
● Continuing the garment project
● Guided elastic insertion
● Personalized decoration
● Final fitting
● Preparing and storing the finished creation in a special Princess Fantasy bag
MODULE 4 – FINISH & CELEBRATE

Class 7 – Final Details
● Closing seams
● Finishing touches
● Reviewing and completing the project
● Preparing creations for presentation
Class 8 – Celebration
● Presentation of the children’s creations
● Mini fashion show or creative exhibit
● Celebration of their accomplishments
